At a professional meeting of the Association of Physiotherapists of Slovenia (ZFS), Coastal Region, we presented the NeuroDance project—an innovative approach that integrates dance, movement, and neurorehabilitation.
The project was presented by Sandra Sikur, who also led practical dance workshops in Izola. Through an experiential approach, she demonstrated to participants how structured dance movement can positively influence neurological functions, body awareness, coordination, and quality of movement across diverse populations.
Both the presentation and the workshops received a very positive response from physiotherapists, who recognized the potential of NeuroDance as a complement to classical therapeutic approaches, as well as an effective tool for fostering motivation, creativity, and holistic patient care.
We would like to thank the Association of Physiotherapists of Slovenia – Coastal Region for the invitation and the opportunity to present the project, and all participants for their openness, engagement, and exchange of professional experience.
